About

The centre began modestly in 2001 when Steven and Amanda Pinder moved to the area from Yorkshire with their Racehorse "Efaad" only to find that there was no suitable stabling in the area.

Undaunted, they set about building their own livery yard with a capacity to stable 9 horses. Such was the demand that they very soon had to expand the stabling to accommodate 18 horses.

Following a successful bid, "Olympic Legacy" funding was obtained from Sports England to assist in the building of further facilities.

The centre now covers 20 acres and includes fenced arenas including an all weather arena, floodlit to Olympic standard, stabling for 34 horses, and a cafe.
